Well known Aussie bike journo Grant Roff has produced a new book, Ultimate Motorcycle Tours, a detailed guide to riding many of the best touring routes in the world.
I’d like to tell it’s a great book full of excellent information and deep insight, but Grant’s a mate of mine and he didn’t invite me on these rides, so I’m just going to remain grumpy he didn’t take me with him. He makes the rides look like so much fun, dammit.
So you’ll have to make up your own mind about the book, because I suggest you buy it – there are articles on rides as far afield as Canada, numerous rides in the USA and Europe, Asia and of course, Australia.
There are also some brief interviews with famous riders including Elspeth Beard, Cam Donald, Heather Ellis and other long-distance travellers.
