BMW’s R nineT Scrambler will arrive in Australia in September, priced at $19,150 plus on-roads.
BMW Motorrad General Manager, Andreas Lundgren said “the R nineT Scrambler is a striking new addition to the line-up, and it will appeal to many.
“Riders can choose from a range of factory options including spoked wheels, off road tyres, traction control and LED indicators, as well as a stunning brushed aluminium tank.
“It is a motorcycle that excites all the senses while being a delight to ride.”
The R nineT Scrambler is BMWs answer to the retro motorcycle craze, saying it harks back to an era of ultimate motorcycle freedom, and it also features modern ABS and heated grips.
BMW is saying you can jump on the bike and head off to adventure – a secluded beach, your favourite twisty road or simply around town – but we think it will be much better suited for the latter of the two.
The R nine T Scrambler looks like it has a comfy, relaxed and upright riding position, and its style embodies the retro genre with its distinctive high ‘scrambler’ exhaust, chunky tyres and classic round headlight.
